This project pairs writers from across Alaska with recipients of the Foundation’s Individual Artist Awards for profiles that reveal roots of creativity. We are so pleased to collaborate with 49 Writers on this feature. We love it when worlds come together!
Rasmuson Foundation provides grants directly to both emerging and accomplished Alaska artists through a highly competitive selection process.
49 Writers is a literary nonprofit founded to support and inspire a statewide community of Alaska writers and readers. The organization hired writers from all over Alaska for this series.
