Julee Farley joined Rasmuson Foundation in October 2020 as chief financial officer. She brings more than 25 years of management, finance and accounting experience and is both a certified public accountant and Chartered Financial Analyst®. She spent the last 15 years with Alaska Permanent Capital Management including as chief compliance officer. She previously worked for Alaska Native corporations — Cook Inlet Region Inc. and then Arctic Slope Regional Corp. — and as an auditor with KPMG. At Alaska Permanent Capital Management, she was responsible for reporting and compliance related to managed assets of $3 billion. She led changes that ensured the firm’s operations were in line with those of financial institutions headquartered far from Alaska and helped APCM become a market leader for Alaskans looking for fiduciary-based investment advice.
Julee is a member of the Rocky Boy Tribe of Chippewa-Cree in Montana. She serves as treasurer of the University of Alaska Foundation and Alaska Winter Stars, and on the Municipality of Anchorage Investment Advisory Committee. She is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, holds a Bachelor of Science in math and a Master of Business Administration from University of Alaska Fairbanks.
Julee came to Alaska nearly 30 years ago on an adventurous whim and stayed, as so many do. She enjoys cross country skiing, hiking and attempting home improvement projects. She and her three children live in Anchorage.
