Maura Wharton joined Rasmuson Foundation in November 2022 as an executive assistant working with the vice presidents of programs and strategy. She is part of the President’s Office.
Before this, she had worked for The Foraker Group since 2015 in several different roles, most recently as the board liaison and partner relations manager. She is a graduate of Foraker’s Certificate in Nonprofit Management and Foraker’s Catalyst for Nonprofit Excellence programs. Maura has a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance and enjoys singing in classical as well as contemporary music styles. Outside of work, Maura likes to attend arts and cultural events, learn music, and play out in the sun and snow with her daughter. A lifelong Alaskan, Maura is excited to join the Foundation team!
