Don Decker

Don Decker is an Anchorage artist, teacher and writer. He has earned BA, MA and MLA Degrees. He completed his MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2009. He has exhibited his work in every major venue in Alaska and 17 other states. He has been an adjunct instructor at the University of Alaska Anchorage since 1992. Working in drawing, painting, sculpture and photography, he has received numerous awards. He has six works in the permanent collection of the Anchorage Museum. He has 43 years of experience in art and art education. Decker writes monthly art reviews for the Anchorage Daily News.
