The challenges of the last year forced many of us to look with fresh eyes at our work and mission, at how we connect and at what we hold most dear. We discovered new ways to engage with partners, clients and communities. Being hunkered down didn’t get us down! We are Alaskans and we figure it out.
Rasmuson Foundation is seeking examples of silver linings and lessons learned from the tough times we all experienced in 2020. We hope to hear from colleagues and partners, nonprofits, municipalities and tribal organizations. Many of us are working from home, but did your organization do something remarkable with new technology tools? Maybe you noticed who was missing from your work and brought them to the table, improving your commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion. Did your organization develop new partnerships or strengthen existing ones?
We all can learn from one another.
So tell us your story. We may feature some publicly. Examples with photos or short videos are ideal.
Please respond by Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2021. If you need more time, just let us know.
Questions? Reach out to our communications manager, Lisa Demer at ldemer@rasmuson.org. You can also email her your story directly if that is easier.
Thank you, Alaskans.
