Rasmuson Foundation is accepting applications for our 2021 Individual Artist Awards for artists living and working in Alaska. The program includes 25 Project Awards, $7,500 each, and 10 Fellowships, $18,000 each.

The awards are highly competitive, and the Foundation helps artists through the process of applying. As part of this year’s outreach, we are co-hosting a series of virtual meetings and workshops to more effectively engage with underrepresented communities and artistic disciplines. Sessions are open to all artists. We have enlisted community partners to help us reach artists who may face unique challenges. Artists interested in the awards are welcome to attend both an informational meeting and a hands-on workshop, which will have concrete tips for crafting applications. All sessions are free and virtual. A statewide workshop is set for Jan. 28.

More information on Individual Artist Awards can be found HERE.

A toolkit for applicants can be found HERE.
