Christina Gheen joined Rasmuson Foundation in November 2021 as a grant management associate and became grants manager in early 2023. In May 2026 she became a senior grants management associate.

Her diverse experience in grant management and multi-faceted understanding of the entire grantmaking process bring a valuable perspective to the Foundation. Christina has a strong background in community outreach and program development with an emphasis in education and community partnerships.

Christina holds a Master of Education in Adult Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She is an alumna of Alaska Humanities Forum’s Leadership Anchorage program and has served on the boards of Alaska Women’s Hall of Fame and the Alaska Center for the Book. She currently serves on the steering committee for the Pacific Northwest Chapter of PEAK Grantmaking, Anchorage Concert Association Board of Directors, and the USO Alaska Advisory Council.

She is a long-time Alaskan committed to supporting and enhancing our communities and the lives of people who live here.
