Jeannette Lee joined Rasmuson Foundation in December 2024 as a Program Officer –Strategy.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Jeannette was at Sightline Institute, a nonpartisan think tank, where she worked on election reform and housing policy in Anchorage. Prior to Sightline, Jeannette consulted at the Adaptation Fund and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and worked as a federal natural gas researcher. She was also a business and policy journalist for The Associated Press in Alaska and Hawai’i, Atlantic Media Company in Washington, D.C., and the Anchorage Daily News. Jeannette earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Yale University and her master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies.

In her personal life, she enjoys cross-country skiing, mountain biking, and gardening.
