Molly Parkan joined Rasmuson Foundation in July 2026 as a program officer. She brings more than a decade of experience in grant management, program delivery, partnerships and public service across federal and nonprofit settings.

In her role, Molly works with organizations and community partners to support responsive, community-centered grantmaking that helps Alaskans thrive.

Before joining the Foundation, Molly worked in emergency management, where she led disaster recovery programs and managed multi-million dollar grant portfolios for Alaska infrastructure and resilience projects. Across those roles, Molly has focused on building relationships and helping communities access resources that support long-term impact.

Molly holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Outside of work, Molly enjoys traveling, building things in her shop, gardening, and exploring the outdoors.
