Project Award 2025

Nessa Nouveau will create an immersive collaborative series of performance, weaving together fashion, music, ritual and community. She plans to invite local artists to co-create experiences honoring seasonal cycles, imagination, emotional healing and the human spirit. Nouveau believes in the resilience and creativity that emerges from challenging times and will create spaces to celebrate grief, joy, magic and renewal.

When asked what she would like the public to know, Nouveau responded, “I grew up with little and had to find my own way, but through art I turned many life challenges into purpose, creating a life and business rooted in imagination and healing.”
