Paul joined the Rasmuson Foundation board in 2025. He was formerly the City Manager for Kenai where he managed the operations of the largest City on the Kenai Peninsula. He also was the Chief of Staff for Mayor Mike Navarre for five years at the Kenai Peninsula Borough. Prior to holding that position, Paul founded and operated Alaska Wireless Communications, a
cellular and internet provider on the Aleutian Chain.

Paul was born and raised in Alaska, moving from Yakutat to Kenai in 1968. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Montana State University. In addition to his service on the hospital board, he has served as the President of the Boys and Girls Club Board and has spent many years coaching youth sports in the area. He and his wife Teri, have two daughters,
Taylor and Allie. Paul enjoys fishing, hunting, hiking, running, and travel.
