Lind Sr. will upgrade and improve the environmental quality of his studio.

Peter Lind was born in a sod house in Chignik, Alaska in 1930. He has had a lifelong interest in his Aleut/Alutiiq culture, beginning carving when he was just 7 years old. Lind specializes in producing bentwood visors, and carving in soapstone, wood and ivory. He currently lives in Homer, Alaska with his wife, artist Darlene Lind.
