Lower 48 Artists Selected for 2016 Residencies in Alaska

Anchorage, AK – Rasmuson Foundation has announced the selection of four artists from the Lower 48 who will each spend eight weeks in residence this fall, at arts organizations in Alaska. These residencies take place as part of the Foundation’s Artist Residency Program.

Anchorage, AK – Rasmuson Foundation today announced the selection of four artists who will each spend two months in Alaska as part of the 2014-15 Artist Residency Program.

The goals of the Rasmuson Foundation Artist Residency Program are to support the creative growth of Alaska’s artists and arts organizations, expose Alaskans to new work and creative processes of Lower 48 artists, and introduce Lower 48 communities to unique Alaska perspectives through extended engagements with artists.

Anchorage –  Rasmuson Foundation has launched an Artist Residency Program to support eight-week residencies for Alaska artists at Lower 48 organizations, and welcome to Alaska organizations accomplished artists from Outside. The four artists selected for residencies in Alaska, which will begin September 15, are:

Melissa Daubert will be in residency at Bunnell Street Arts Center in Homer.
