Building brings Sitka nonprofits together

Sitka –  Children at the 3 to 5 Preschool  and those who attend Sitka Fine Arts Camps (SFAC) were the big winners last week as the Rasmuson Student Center building in Sitka is now secure as the permanent home for both organizations.

The Trail

Last week Rasmuson Foundation launched a new series of videos that add to the web-based collection of stories we call "Glimpses of Who We Are." Today we share the second in that series - a whimsical, possibly mysterious short that film maker Ellen Frankenstein says was "inspired by late night episodic-serial TV watching."

Site visit Sitka

On June 29 and 30, the Rasmuson Foundation Board of Directors visited Sitka to see some of Foundation-funded projects and meet old and new friends among the nonprofit community. As Chairman Ed Rasmuson noted, Sitka never seems to be at a loss for good ideas.
