Organization Description

Koahnic Broadcast Corp. is a nonprofit, Alaska Native-governed media center dedicated to bringing Native voices to Alaska and the nation. The national programming division produces Native America Calling, National Native News and Earthsongs; Native Voice One; and KNBA.

Jaclyn Sallee received a sabbatical award in 2010. She oversees national and local development efforts that has materialized with dramatic growth in stations that carry Koahnic programs. As of 2023, she was still president and CEO of Koahnic.
