At the time of her sabbatical, Jill Hodges had been executive director of Alaska Brain Injury Network for nearly six years. She began as the organization’s lone staff member. Her sabbatical allowed the board and other staff to grow and learn. Before she left, her organizational duties were documented to ensure a smooth transition. Hodges planned to use her sabbatical to get outdoors and experience other cultures with travels in Alaska and internationally.
