Kate Salisbury Wool was raised in North Carolina and has lived in Alaska since 1990. She earned her BFA in Photographic Design in 1992 from the University of Georgia and her MFA in Art and Photography in 2001 from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she is currently an adjunct professor in photography. She has had several solo and group exhibitions and “best of show” awards for her photos. Her work can be seen at the Anchorage Museum, Alaska State Museum and the University of Alaska Museum of the North.
