Ken Fate discovered public radio as a college DJ at the University of Idaho and landed on a career that served him — and the community of Sitka — well. From chief announcer to general manager, he found his calling at Raven Radio KCAW. In 2011, he took a sabbatical. He stayed at the station until 2017, serving the last few years as co-general manager with his wife, Rachel.
