About the artist

Mark Daughhetee has been making and exhibiting photographs for 35 years. With more than 100 exhibitions to his credit, Daughhetee has participated in shows in 14 U.S. states, Russia and the former Soviet Far East, including solo exhibitions in Alaska, California, Texas and Washington. In 1984 he received an Individual Artist Fellowship from the Alaska State Council on the Arts. In 1986 he was selected as Alaska’s sole representative at the Third Western States Exhibition organized by the Western States Arts Foundation in cooperation with the Brooklyn Museum. A native of Los Angeles, Daughhetee lived in Juneau, Alaska from 1977 through 2007 where he served as the Curator of Exhibitions for the Alaska State Museum. He now makes his home in Seattle, Washington.

Daughhetee will prepare for three solo exhibitions and buy a large-format printer.
